|
- Manager and Administrator of the Group – liaison between the Leaders and the Executive Committee.
- Training is given – we have many different training modules, which you would be expected to complete (by e-learning or attendance on half day/day courses).
- Attendance at Executive Committee, District Group Scout Leader and occasional Section/Leader meetings.

2 hours a week.

Assistant Group Scout Leader
|
- To help the Group Scout Leader manage the Group as above.
- Training is given – we have many different training modules, which you would be expected to complete (by e-learning or attendance on half day/day courses).
- Attendance at Executive Committee, District Group Scout Leader and occasional Section/Leader meetings.

1 Hour a week

Young Scout Leader
|
Suitable for Explorer Scouts or use it as part of your DofE service. Contribute and run games and activities to scouts with the assistance of the Leader support.

2 hours each Wednesday
|
|
Leader roles for various age groups between 6-14 years old.
|
- Plan and run evening sessions, plus other activities outside of the normal evenings in the Hut as required.
- Training is given – we have many different training modules, which you would be expected to complete (by e-learning or attendance on half day/day courses).
- Once a week at the evening sessions, plus planning time and attendance at some District meetings.
The more Leaders we have the more tasks can be shared, so the commitment is less.

3 Hours a week.

- Once a week at the evening sessions, plus time spent helping the leader to plan the evenings, plus attendance at some District meetings
- The more Assistant Leaders we have, the more tasks can be shared, so the commitment is less.

Fundraiser
|
- To assist in finding grants/fund raisers/ ideas to raise money for the Group
- Attendance at Executive Committee meetings approximately once every two months.
- To help at ad hoc events i.e. Ampthill Festival.

3 hours a month.
|

General Members
|
- To contribute ideas and help with general running of the Group
- Attendance at Executive Committee meetings approximately once every two months.
- To help at ad hoc events ie Ampthill Festival.

2 hours a month

|
Maintenance Assistant
|
- To help current Premises Manager to maintain the Scout Hut – painting; DIY; repairs
- Attendance at Executive Committee meetings approximately once every two months.
- To help at ad hoc events ie Ampthill Festival.

1 hour a week.
